help me, fellow knitters!
and crocheters. = )
i have a post planned about my new sewing machine and the fun of learning to use it, but i seem to be having trouble getting my ducks in a row as far as taking and uploading pictures and sitting down at the computer to write a post. so that's coming up for anyone that cares. for now, i need all my knitters and crocheters out there to send me some motivation vibes, cause i just don't seem to feel like picking up and finishing (or starting) my stuff! i've been almost done with my fluttersleeve top for like a month now (all i have left is two and a half sleeve pieces), but i just don't ever feel like picking it up. i cast on like a half a dozen times for a camisole seester and i are going to knit at the same time, and i really need to frog my half a row and do a gauge swatch, but that's not thrilling me wither right now. what is wrong with me! i'd blame it on the excitement of the new sewing machine (which i would lurve some name suggestions for) but i don't think that's it. i was feeling this way before mymr.jonjon so sweetly surprised me with the singer. and since i can sit on the couch and knit but i have to set up the machine to use it, i don't think they're really competing for the same time slots in my little life. i've just misplaced my needle arts motivation. = ( help me find it please!

You would think I'd be able to be of some inspiration to you, but unfortunately (though I've been knitting quite a lot recently) I'm somewhat in a knitting funk myself, due to being completely bored with making everloving golf club covers. *sigh*
Oh, and I agree with HobbyZu....next time you need some inspiration, troll the internet or the knitting mags for something you really, really want to make. Of course, then you'll wind up with like 20-something unfinished objects like the rest of us....so maybe entertaining yourself with the sewing machine isn't so bad!
