in praise of seesters!
(does anyone else out there even have a seester?)
growing up i always wanted a sister, but never got one. i was
quite thrilled, then, that when i got married i aquired a sister-in-law
who is now my "seester" and always will be. recently, i became
interested in some of the same hobbies (can they be called hobbies when
she actually makes money off of them?) such as knitting and very
recently, sewing.
so yesterday at work i walked into the mail room to help out the new
guys and saw this box with my name on it. which of course caused
joyful squealing because i knew that the handwriting was sarah's (my
seester) and that boxes from my seester always have good goodies in them. inside.....
and there's another layer under that, folks! all kinds of fun scraps that i have no idea yet what they're destined for, but i'm sure it's exciting! there was also a large piece of shiny pink fabric that i have a suspicion made it in because my seester knows how very much i like pink, because it's like a whole yard, not just a scrap:
and to top it all off, a huge bag of trim! i haven't tried anything with trim yet, so that's like uncharted territory. it's way to much to take pice of it all, so i'm just going to show you my favorite:
i like green almost as much as i like pink!
thanks seester! i love you!

Seester, you make me blush!!!!
You can all see why it is so much fun to send this girl packages. . .if only the mail were free, I would get to do it more often!
So glad you like it! Have fun!
Hey, does this mean I'm off the hook now about that giving you a sister thing?
(btw, good job, Sarah! That material is gorgeous!)
